Earth, Fire, Water and Air have been used in cultures and stories for 1000's of years. Some might consider them the building blocks of faith. The land of Finane, believe in the strength and magic of the elements and when the creatures and people of the land pass, their spirits will join one of the Elements, strengthening the magic that each element grants. EARTH
Attributes: Stability, Growth, Nurturing, Strength & Protection.

Earth signs are the most grounded and always keep it real. They're known to be stable, pragmatic, and steadfast. They make excellent friends!
Can be stubborn and set in their ways!

Fauna: Land and forest dwelling creatures that live on or in the earth. Not all of these creatures like to be disturbed – tread carefully – especially in caves and the most ancient parts of the forest.

Flora: All plants and trees that grow on land or in the forest – some of these trees are fed by magical waters and have the ability to communicate – be respectful and they may bestow you with gifts!

FIRE
Attributes: Passion, Ambition, Battle, Drive & Desire

Fire signs are bold and brave, brash and daring. They are warm and affectionate and fierce allies and protectors. They love home comforts. Their tempers can be short and their ego’s are easily bruised!

Fauna: Serpents, Scorpions, Sand Spiders and other Creatures that live on or in the Desert and volcanic regions – it should be noted that some magical creatures are born of fire and can be very aggressive – there were once dragons in this land – proceed with caution!
Flora: All plants and succulents that grow in the Dessert – no plant life can survive in the volcanic region.

WATER
Attributes: Emotion, Healing, Mystery, Ancestors & Life Force

Water signs feel everything and can be highly creative and intuitive, making wonderful artists. They are very loyal and compassionate.
Can be moody, oversensitive and highly suspicious!

Fauna: All creatures that dwell in the rivers, pools and oceans – there are leviathans hidden in the deepest waters, who hold ancient knowledge – some are friendly – some are not – but they all love shiny things!

AIR
Attributes: Communication, Intelligence, Knowledge, Flight & Spellcasting

Air signs are intellectual and communicative. They understand the things of this world and the world beyond. They are masters of language and information. Can be easily distracted and gossip!

Fauna: Birds, insects and other creatures with wings that fly or do not live on the ground. There are tales of a colony of magical winged beings that live in the clouds above the Eastern Vortex. If you are lucky – maybe one day you will see one!

Flora: Sun flowers and other plant life that grow in the clouds
